Hello! We’re Jeanette and Alex and we are the “girls” of Green Girl Gardens. On our website you will find information about the vegetable starts and flower bouquets we offer, where you can find us (farmers markets, etc.), as well as a whole bushel of information on how to grow your garden.
We offer a wide range of vegetable starts that are naturally grown and available two times a year; first in the spring for the summer season, and then again in the fall, in preparation for the winter growing season. You can find our plant starts at various sales and farmers markets.
In July, our flower fields are bursting into bloom and our bouquets are ready for purchase. We grow a wide range of colourful flowers that are hand selected and arranged into beautiful bouquets and sold both at various stores and farmers markets.
Our farm is located on a sunny southern slope overlooking the lovely Mount Newton Valley. This morning we heard frogs singing as we watched the mist roll off the field and into the valley below. At Green Girl Gardens we want to bring some of this beauty to you.
